iLoveThese Unique Centrepieces for Spring!
A huge apology to the loyal readers of i-Weddings.com.au for the extra long hiatus. There has been a major burst of activity at i-Weddings (the business), thus my neglect of i-Weddings.com.au (the blog). But I'm back now. Thank you to all who sent me so many concerned emails.
Since spring is about a heartbeat away (in Australia, anyway), here are some great wedding inspirations for unique centrepieces for your spring wedding reception.

Planning Reception - Great idea on easy DIY centrepiece
Here's a great idea from Meghan Carter of AsktheDecorator.com on an easy DIY and inexpensive reception centrepiece using wine bottles.
Start collecting empty wine bottles from your friends and use this video as an inspiration for an easy, inexpensive centrepiece. Depending on your wedding theme, you can replace the seashells with flowers, pretty bomboniere boxes or even just some rose petals.

Reception Centrepieces - More iLoveThese Centrepieces from Marthastewartdotcom
If you're planning a spring wedding in Australia, here are a few warm ideas for your reception centrepieces from Martha Stewart. Two main themes are apparent in the Martha Stewart centrepieces.
Firstly there's the use of potted plants as centrepieces. You could re-use them as plants in the garden in your new home. How's that for a cost saving!
Secondly there's use of bold warm colours - hues of red, orange and warm yellow. The bottom left picture features fruits as part of the centrepiece. Very yummy idea!

Planning - Real weddings from i-Weddings
Now that the iLoveThese palettes have taken off superbly, I think it's time to try a new series. This time we take it one step further than pictures.
Lots of couples are sharing their wedding days and ideas online through for example, Youtube. i-Weddings will be scouring all available video streaming websites to present to you the BEST of these real wedding ideas. Why not learn from those who've been there, done that!
Our very first Real Weddings series features photos and video from Jennifer and Tyler's wedding in Central California that took place on 27 May 2006. It was a outdoor garden wedding with very bold use of colours. Exquisite!
